History of Doc The Destroyer
Doc The Destroyer is a strategy game published by Melbourne House in 1987 for the ZX Spectrum.
Our friend Doc appears disoriented and naked in a strange world, and is taken in and healed by a tribe living in the outer ruins, far from the great walled city. Searching for his time machine in the sewers, he discovers a terrible secret that threatens his hosts, but on his return he is accused of treason and must escape for his life.
How to play Doc The Destroyer
First of all, we must give our character unique characteristics, which we will configure through five attributes: strength, stamina, intelligence, luck and charisma. We have a total of 60 points to distribute, and the result will have a significant impact on the actions Doc has to carry out.
For each situation we are confronted with, we will have to choose between several options. Depending on our decision, we will either have to fight to the death against fierce opponents, or we will be presented with new choices, which will be strongly linked to our character's characteristics. The higher the luck value, the easier it is to avoid fights, for example.
