Once you get the hang of the different programs to install, it's perfect. Recommended to 100%! Tested on a Philips v8020, a Sony hb 20p and a Sanyo msx2.

With this cartridge and my old F1 Spirit with switch to use its scc as external, using sofarun, I have a complete solution for my MSX1 and MSX2.

All perfect for my 8020.

Bought it for a Philips VG8010, more as a memory expansion than as a massive storage of games and programs..... until I really tried it, putting in a SD the SofaRun with my game collection and in another SD the MSXPACK 3.0...I can only say that it's absolutely great. I've already put so many hours on it and there are more to come. It is absolutely recommended to give life to our old MSX .... makes me want to buy another replacement because I'm going to burn this one at this rate!

Nice item but a good manual would do wonders. How do you set up a SD card and the dip switch settings would be nice to know. But this keeps your msx alive . Nice product. ]]>

This is an excellent quality product: the housing is robust, pleasant to the touch and the PCB materials are also first class. I think it's important to mention this, because Hobbyretro has done a great job in this area. As for the functionality of the cartridge, it is superb, but a printed manual would be appreciated because you have to get the hang of two or three programs. Normally Sofarun is enough: put it in autoexec, turn it on and play. But there are recent MSX2 games that on my computer have required another launcher, so it's a matter of trying. In short: with some games you have to fiddle around a bit, but the cartridge is recommended to 100% for quality and functionality.
