History of Master Chess
Master Chess es un juego de ajedrez publicado por Mastertronic en 1987 para el ZX Spectrum.
You won't find any flashy 3D graphics or super-detailed animations here. But whether you're a chess enthusiast who likes to study and squeeze out games in detail, or simply a player looking to have a good time with an easy-to-use game, this programme will certainly meet all your expectations.
How to play Master Chess
As in any game of chess, we are given the possibility of choosing white or black, to then allow us to select the level of the CPU based on its response time (the longer the response time, the greater the difficulty). With the keyboard we will move the piece we want to move through the origin and destination squares, always respecting the rules of the game.
In the computer's turn we can press Return to force it to play without using up its calculation time, while with Space we can visualise the defeated pieces. When it is our turn to move a piece, we can also use Return to access a series of very interesting options, such as relocating any piece from its current position or the entire board from scratch, which is extremely useful for practising and improving our moves.
