History of Double Dragon
Double Dragon is a fighting game published by Virgin Games in 1988 for the Amstrad CPC.
Brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee, known as the Double Dragons, have earned a reputation in the city for their mastery of martial arts. This, however, has not stopped the Black Warriors, a gang of criminals, from kidnapping Billy's girlfriend Marian. It is up to the Lee brothers to take down all members of the sinister clan and rescue Marian safely.
How to play Double Dragon
As one of the Lee twins, our goal is to defeat all the enemies in each stage, until we reach the headquarters and take down Willy, the gang's leader. Our mission takes us through suburbs, factories, and forests, and the environment will influence our fighting style. A wide variety of attacks are available, including kicks, punches, elbows and headbutts.
The Black Warriors gang is made up of fearsome warriors who outnumber and outnumber us. Fortunately, along the way we will also find a multitude of weapons to defend ourselves with, such as baseball bats, whips, knives and even rocks. Each level has its own final enemy that can only be defeated if we can find their weak points.
