History of Advanced Soccer Simulator
Advanced Soccer Simulator is a football simulator published by Mastertronic Plus in 1989 for the ZX Spectrum.
This football simulator offers all the thrills and spills of real competition, from cup glory to harrowing battles to avoid relegation. You take charge of one of the 80 teams available from the fourth division, and the aim is to reach the very top.
How to play Advanced Soccer Simulator
The first thing we have to choose will be our favourite English FA team. From there we will compete in a full league season including cup matches. If we finish in the top 3 of the division we can be promoted to a higher division, but we can also be relegated if we occupy one of the last three positions.
We start the championship with a limited budget. Each matchday we will be able to transfer members of our squad and sign a single player. After setting the starting line-up for each match, we will be able to visualise the most outstanding goals and plays while we see how our team evolves. It is important to achieve promotion as we will also be rewarded with more money to cover the club's expenses.
