History of Xenon
Xenon is a shooting game published by Dro Soft in 1988 for Amstrad CPC and Spectrum.
The instant you saw Captain Xod's face appear on the intercom, you knew there was serious trouble. As the pilot of the only Federation ship available, it falls to us to come to his aid. Our mission is to gather supplies for our fleet while facing the most savage alien invasion ever known.
How to play Xenon
Our objective is to cross 4 enemy zones, each divided into 2 sectors. We pilot an interstellar ship that can take a land form and an air form depending on the obstacles and enemies we encounter in our path. Certain areas can only be flown over using the air form.
We possess basic weaponry that we can upgrade by collecting power-ups from the enemies we destroy. In the same way we can recharge the fuel lost due to alien attacks, and even get powerful shields for a limited time. In the middle and at the end of each sector we will have to face the fearsome sentries, who will test our survival skills.
