History of Vector Ball
Vector Ball is a sports game published by Mastertronic in 1988 for the Amstrad CPC.
A futuristic competition played on specially designed playing fields for maximum audience entertainment, with two robotic contenders willing to do anything to win. Vector Ball is the ultimate sport, bringing together the basic components of traditional games with the latest in technology and artificial intelligence.

How to play Vector Ball
At the controls of our robot, we have to get the ball into the opponent's goal, scoring more goals than the rival robot before the time limit runs out. We can move freely without the ball, but when we have it in our possession we can only project it while remaining static. We have several seconds to execute our shot, setting the strength and direction of the shot.
The playing fields have different irregularities that can be configured to the user's liking. The terrain is delimited by a fence, which we can use to make complex shots and thus overcome our opponent. We can choose a course with elevations, hollows, undulations, or a mixture of all of the above styles.
