You've had enough of this "down to earth" life, where nothing ever happens... You want to move, put your reflexes and speed to the test; not a moment's hesitation can you have... I'll take you on a little trip into interstellar space that won't be easy. Are you ready?

In Tempest you become a saviour of space. Your objective: to repel all invaders infiltrating the metallic hyperspace tracks that allow travellers to travel from one star to another. These intruders are determined to short-circuit the tracks and then... a magnificent pyrotechnic display.

HOW TO PLAY TEMPEST

Tempest is a shooting game that uses wireframe graphics. Each Wireway is taken in turn and has a network of lines that guide the movement paths of both you and the aliens. You stay on the outside and keep shooting as the aliens move towards you. Any that make it to the outside are fatal to touch, which greatly limits your range of movement if 2 or more make it. Some aliens move sideways; when dealing with them, plan ahead and allow for the time it will take for your shots to travel.
