Skate Crazy, the game

In Skate Crazy the player races through a car park level that has been turned into a multi-directional scrolling arena for the gladiators of skate racing. Kick cans, trash to collect and obstacles to avoid in the form of cones, ramps, sand, bouncing balls, flying frisbees, mazes of tyres and rocks, and even other skateboarders. Finishing each level is a battle against time to negotiate a series of gates in a set order, the next gate is indicated by a row of flashing dots between their flags.

Get your skates on and head down to the local car park, where you'll test your eight-wheeled skills in the 'Car Park Challenge'.

How to play Skate Crazy

To complete the rounds successfully, you perform suitably impressive stunts and tricks to appease a panel of four judges. Each has a card that periodically displays at the bottom of the screen, notifying the player of their progress. When the player's energetic jumping skills have earned enough points to qualify, he skates through the finish gate and his performance is graded. Failing to qualify forces the player to skate through the car park against the clock, collecting a set amount of trash. Passing a level allows the player to skate to the exit ramp of the level, from where they choose to move on to the next level or exit the car park and move on to the next part of the game, 'The Skate Crazy Championship Course'.
