History of Octagon Squad
Octagon Squad is a maze game published by Mastertronic in 1986 for ZX Spectrum.
Planet 24.7 has suffered a large-scale chemical attack. Twenty-six survivors remain trapped in the reactor maze, with severe brain damage. Octagon Squad is tasked with evacuating the victims by sending them to the teleport zone, and escape alive without succumbing to the radiation.

How to play Octagon Squad
The objective is to get the victims lurking in the maze to the evacuation zone. To do this, we must use our team members alternately, blocking exits and opening doors. The radiation will diminish our health, but we will be able to recover it again by drinking from fountains that we will find scattered throughout the maze.
The game is driven by a matrix of icons, each responsible for a specific action. We can move around the map, change the team member to control, pick up keys, open doors, and drink to regain health. When executing certain orders, it is important to activate the icon of the direction in which they will be carried out.
