History of Nether Earth
Nether Earth is a strategy game published by Argus Press Software in 1987 for the ZX Spectrum.
It has been five aeons since the Insignians arrived on Earth and conquered it, thanks to their war machine. However, the Resistance has been fighting hard to resist them and at last an Insignian base has been conquered. Employing the same war machines as the enemy, Captain Fergus McCaffery launches a new offensive that may prove to be final.

How to play Nether Earth
The object of the game is to capture or destroy enemy bases, while keeping our own safe and taking out the insignificant robots. To do this, we pilot an anti-gravitational vehicle from which we direct the offensive. Thanks to this ship we can manage the production of the factories, and design the strategies to be followed by our robots.
In order to build robots, we must have sufficient resource units and access to factories with the appropriate components. Each machine must have a chassis module, one or more armament modules, and optionally an electronic support module. Once we have built the units with the functionalities we consider necessary, we can decide whether to use them to defend, attack positions, or take control of them ourselves.
