History of Kettle
Kettle is a maze game published by Alligata Software in 1986 for the Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64.
Our lovable teapot is trapped in an underground labyrinth complex and cannot get out. With the sole protection of Crizza, a friendly sphere orbiting around her, we have to help her find her way out of this predicament. Without our favourite teapot, our infusions will never taste the same.
How to play Kettle
To get out of each level you need to find the door and open it, which can only be done if you have previously found a can opener. As we wander around, we will see strange bubble-emitting intestines, which can do us a lot of harm if they come into contact with us.
We possess a sphere that rotates around us, protecting us from the bubbles, which we can also use as a throwing weapon against the intestines. After several hits, these containers will generate a diamond when destroyed. By attacking this diamond with the sphere, a new item will appear: the coveted can opener, an alien that will chase us, a points bonus, or a delicious jug of water that will replenish some energy.
