History of Ballblazer
Ballblazer is a sports game published by Activision in 1986 for the ZX Spectrum.
Ballblazer is the most dizzying and exciting competition in the known universe. The rules are simple: three minutes, two opponents and only one winner. For the first time in the history of the tournament, an inhabitant of planet Earth has a real chance of winning the most precious title: Masterblazer.

How to play Ballblazer
The matches are played on a grid of about 105 metres. Players fly motorised wings to capture a plasma orb and direct it to energy portals. The winner is the one who scores the most points before the time limit expires, or the one who reaches ten points first. The score obtained depends on the distance at which you shoot at the portal.
When the orb is captured by our energy field, it changes to our colour and the navigation system automatically points to a portal so we can propel it. We will have to learn certain defensive manoeuvres as well, such as blocking and stealing, or taking advantage of the walls of the field to get better firing positions.
