Puzzle games usually make us think about emptying a game board faster than new pieces arrive. BALLS offers the opposite and you will have to fill the board as fast as possible.
The aim is to drop balls without ever meeting 2 of the same colour. But when they come together, up to 5 at a time, they explode and bring extra points. So it's all about managing time to fill the board while taking risks to score as much as possible. Unfortunately, the game's lack of ambition soon becomes apparent. If we can apologise for offering no music at all, the lack of a scoreboard is unforgivable. We can't even chain the 20 available tables, but play them independently, ending the game in a few seconds with a terse "game over" message when you've managed to fill the board. It's a shame because despite its uninspired name, BALLS is missing just a few details to make it a must-play puzzle game rather than a trivial pastime.
