This game is a homage to Bagman, an arcade game released by Valadon Automation in 1982. It is also the sequel to Bagman Comes Back.

According to the wiki of the original Bagman game, which is what the game is based on, the object of the game is to manoeuvre the Bagman through various mine shafts, collecting bags of money and placing them in a wheelbarrow on the surface of the mine . The player must avoid chasing enemies, moving ore carts and descending lifts. The player can temporarily stun guards by hitting them with a pickaxe or by dropping money bags on them when they are below the player on the same ladder. The player can move between the three screens that make up the level via axes and on the surface.
