Asteroids exploited to the last ounce of their mineral resources and finally abandoned are used to organise races against the clock on winding roads. To enjoy alone or with a friend, STAR DRIVER offers an original direction for a tried and tested style of play.
A clever control routine offers an amazing view with a curved perspective that justifies the idea of running around an asteroid. On the other hand, the graphics lack detail and the sound of its engine is atrocious. Controlling the car is difficult and takes perseverance, but once you understand how it works, you should progress quickly. Once you have completed the first lap of each asteroid in less than 60 seconds, taking care not to step on the stage, you can try the "double orbit" which consists of completing a second lap in a total time of less than 100 seconds . In versus mode, the fastest player wins. Despite the small size of the playing area and once the frustration of the first attempts is over, we had a fun time in front of the CPC screen.
